Fights in streets
Alleys and bars

Get the job done
That’s what cops do
Whether you wear
Tan, gray or blue

Shoulder to shoulder
Standing side by side
Brothers are missing
Brothers have died

From across the nation
In towns large and small
Black shrouds remind us
Of those who gave all

The battle continues
Their deaths not in vain
Continue the fight
Victory to gain

When the war is over
And evil must hide
