He
is a special man, he rates above the rest,
From the gun attached to his side, to the badge pinned on his chest.
His
job is not a nine to five,
he works midnights and fights to save lives.
He
helps the good guys and counsels the bad,
he deals with the fighting and crying and even those who are mad.
When
the door unlocks and daddy's safe at home, we jump for joy
And hug him tight because we know he made it through another night.
We
are so blessed from God above,
because nothing could take the place of our daddy and his love.
