On lonely highways late at night you answer a call without any fright You go out of your way to protect us and it seems all we do is sit back and fuss
You are the men who put your lives on the line the men who can never say" I'll be fine" You reassure us when something goes wrong and you always try to help us to all get along
You are the ones so many people hate but when they are in trouble, they pray that you aren't too late You are the ones that wear those flat rimmed hats and you sadly have to put up with a lot of our crap
Many children look up to you as a hero but a lot of adults rate you as a zero through all of these sad things you still stand proud and tall you are the brave people who enforce the law
You are the finest of your state and now that you have made it, you realize it was worth the wait Although people call you snobby, greedy, stupid, and mean Rest assure I will always know you as, The Brave Men In Green.
